Handmade bookends of folk musician playing tambourine known as kanjeera or dafli in local language in India. It is a framed drum used mainly as folk song and bhajan instrument. The bookends are made of antique brass using Dhokra technique.

The Art:
Dhokra artefacts can be traced back as early as Mohenjo-daro. It is the oldest traditional technique of casting metal. The name of the art is derived from the fact that it is greatly practiced by Dhokra damar tribe.
