The motif is painted in the Khobar Ghar or the nuptial chamber to bless a newly wed couple.The central theme of these Khobar paintings are love and prosperity. The subject of Madhubani paintings are generally inspired from mythology and nature.
These coasters have been beautifully hand-painted on handmade paper which has been hot pressed and made into coasters.
This is made by the local artist from Madhubani where the art has originated.
