A beautiful handmade figurine of a woman with “tadi”. Tadi is taken as light tranquillizer by Maria tribe in Bastar region. This drink is generally consumed during festivals or ceremonies. It is made by antique brass.

The Art:
Dhokra artefacts can be traced back as early as Mohenjo-daro. It is the oldest traditional technique of casting metal. The name of the art is derived from the fact that it is greatly practiced by Dhokra damar tribe.

This Dhokra art work is made by Jai Hind Thakur from Chattisgarh.
