The Art:
“Lohshilp”, also known as wrought iron craft, is practiced among the ironsmith tribes of Bastar. The tribe used to make farm equipments and household utensils. Over the years, this technique has taken a shape of art form which is no longer confined to making objects of daily utility. The ironsmith showcases their culture and daily life through this craft. This art is protected under Geographical Indication.
