Handmade figurine of folk musician playing Tambourine known as kanjeera or dafli in local language in India. It is a framed drum used mainly as folk music and bhajan instrument. This portrayal of musician is unique and detailed from head to toe. It is made of antique brass using Dhokra technique. The base is made of teak wood.

Dhokra artefacts can be traced back as early as Mohenjo-daro. It is the oldest traditional technique of casting metal. The name of the art is derived from the fact that it is greatly practiced by Dhokra damar tribe.
