A handcrafted tribal pair (male and female known as Madia & Madin) of “Maria” tribe from Bastar. The headgear is the distinguishing factor between male and female. The male, Madia, wear headgear made of bison horns whereas the female,Madin, wears peacock feathers.

The Art:
Dhokra artefacts can be traced back as early as Mohenjo-daro. It is the oldest traditional technique of casting metal. The name of the art is derived from the fact that it is greatly practiced by Dhokra damar tribe.
