Hand-painted "Tikuli Art" Tray from Bihar
A hand-painted tray that depicts a marriage scene from the Hindu tradition. Jaimala is a wedding ritual in which the bride and groom put fresh flower garlands into each other’s necks. This tradition finds its reference in Vedic literature also.
This tray has been beautifully hand-painted on a wooden base with the help of enamel paint.
